Fairmont St Andrews
St Andrews, Scotland
The stunning 5-star Fairmont St Andrews golf resort is idyllically set in 520 acres of beautiful coastal surroundings. Located at the true ‘Home of Golf’, Fairmont is a unique and lavish resort which boasts so much more than a comfortable stay and world-class golf.
There are two types of accommodation at Fairmont St Andrews - guest rooms and the Manor Homes. Each of the 209 spacious guestrooms are blessed with both style and functionality, offering the latest in room amenities and home comforts. The Manor Homes are of a modern open plan design, situated next to the 4th fairway of the Torrance Course, sharing the same breath-taking views as the resort. Each Manor Home has four large en-suite bedrooms, a farmhouse style kitchen, luxurious living room, dining room and a fully equipped business office.
Restaurant & Bars
Fairmont St Andrews more than lives up to expectations with the quality of dining on offer at the hotel. La Cucina is the hotel’s onsite Italian eatery and offers a range of gourmet pizzas, pasta, and some sensational seafood dishes.
St Andrews Bar & Grill is the most spectacular, set upon a clifftop with stunning panoramic views over the golf courses and St Andrews Bay. It serves locally sourced seasonal produce from surrounding farms and suppliers.
Other dining options include The Squire, the hotel’s signature Brasserie style restaurant, offering an A La Carte menu with a wide selection of dishes.
The Atrium Lounge serves a traditional Savoy Afternoon Tea that will give you a taste of London in St Andrews. If you are looking for a couple of fun and relaxing bars, then try Kittocks Den, which serves an extensive collection of single malts, cocktails and spirits, or Zephyr Sports Bar, which is Scotland’s first luxury vegan/vegetarian sports bar.
On the patio outside of Kittocks Den is also the Links Champagne Bar in partnership with Moet & Chandon.
Spa & Leisure
Fairmont St Andrews' European-style health spa offers a full range of body and beauty treatments, including sculpting therapy, deep cleansing facial, Scottish hot stone massage, detoxifying seaweed scrub and aromatherapy. If that isn't enough, there are also fitness and well-being activities, steam rooms, a sauna and Jacuzzi, and a large heated indoor swimming pool.
For the non-golfer, there are many local attractions such as castles, distilleries, museums, sea life aquarium, woolen mills, and The Byre Theatre, as well as the opportunity to explore the city of St Andrews and the rugged coastline of the Kingdom of Fife. Although not famed for its nightlife, there are plenty of local bars and pubs to keep you busy during your free evenings.
