Find the perfect base in Edinburgh and East Lothian
As you would expect with any capital city, the accommodation selection in Edinburgh is extensive, from boutique B&Bs to luxurious five-star hotels. Hotel Du Vin is perfectly located and a real favorite of Golfbreaks clients. Once a poorhouse, then asylum, then science lab, and now stunning luxury hotel, the building has taken many guises since 1743 when it was built. Alternatively, the Jurys Inn and Malmaison are also great options.
Along the stunning coastline and closer to all the links courses, we have a range of excellent choices, with Greywalls Hotel on the edge of Muirfield Golf Club and the Macdonald Marine Hotel in North Berwick being our higher end properties. Nether Abbey, the Ducks Inn and No.12 Quality Street all provide great three-star options oozing character and local charm. For groups of 6-8 golfers we'd highly recommend the North Berwick Lodge, a beautifully renovated self-catering coach house that's perfect for golfers.
