Golf Courses
Golf sits at the heart of the Gleneagles experience, with a rich history dating back over a century and four outstanding courses to choose from.
PGA Centenary Course A Jack Nicklaus-designed masterpiece and host of the 2014 Ryder Cup and 2019 Solheim Cup. This modern championship layout offers wide fairways, strategic bunkering, and a true test for golfers of all abilities.
King’s Course Designed by James Braid and opened in 1919, this classic layout is widely regarded as one of the finest inland courses in the UK. It combines heathland and moorland characteristics with stunning views and a traditional design that rewards creativity and shot-making. This course is ranked no.18 on Scotland's top 100 golf courses and is a former Scottish Open host on the European Tour.
Queen’s Course Another Braid design, slightly shorter and more forgiving than the King’s, but equally charming. It offers a more relaxed round while still delivering strategic challenges and beautiful scenery. Queen's Course is ranked no.31 on Scotland's top 100 golf courses.
PGA National Academy Course: A nine-hole par-3 course ideal for beginners, families, or those looking to sharpen their short game in a relaxed setting.

With five tee positions available on the PGA Centenary Golf Course, the track varies from 5,065 to 7,081 yards in length, making it one of the longest golf courses in inland Scotland from the back tees. The King's Course
A host of eight Scottish Opens in the past, the Kings Golf Course exudes quality through its well-maintained fairways and tightly clipped greens making for perfect playing conditions. However, the golf course is a serious test of a players’ ability, with subtle changes in green and tee elevation making club selection difficult but vitally important.
The Queen's Course
You need to play the Queens Golf Course to experience the true beauty of Gleneagles. Although not the longest of courses at 5660 yards the woodland setting mixes with moorland stretches to give players a truly unique golfing experience.
