A myriad of championship courses to play
The European Tour makes regular stops in Dubai both at the start and end of the season, due to the incredible weather and variety of quality courses in the region. Each January, the Emirates Golf Club plays host to the Dubai Desert Classic. Always attracting a world-class field, with past winners including Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Sergio Garcia!
The Majlis Course nicknamed “The Desert Miracle”, became Dubai’s first all-grass championship course. It continues to be one of the shining lights of the European Tour schedule, with a stellar layout, perfect conditioning, and incredible views of the ever-developing Dubai skyline.
The season traditionally comes to a close with the climax of the ‘Race to Dubai’. The final event is held annually at Jumeirah Golf Estates on the Earth Course a spectacular backdrop for this prestigious event.
The setup of golf in Dubai lends itself perfectly to playing multiple championship courses. As well there are fabulous courses to be found at The Els Club and Dubai Creek Golf Club, with The Montgomerie Golf Club ever-increasing in popularity amongst our customers.
For something a little different, check out the stunning Arabian Ranches. The course features no water hazards or defined bunkers, instead, it weaves in and out of the desert landscape giving it one of the most natural feels of any course in the area.
"You are spoilt for choice when deciding what courses to play in the UAE but the good news is you won’t be disappointed wherever you choose to play. The summer months get a little too hot, which makes it a great destination to play during our cooler months."
