The Links at Spanish Bay at Pebble Beach Resort
The Links at Spanish Bay overview
The Links at Spanish Bay wanders among sweeping sand dunes along the famous 17-Mile Drive. The layout unveils some of the most spectacular seaside views in Pebble Beach as well as some of the most impressive holes which is impressing considering the competition. The surrounding landscape and beauty can be found in few places around the world and is a must-play on the Monterey peninsula.
Golf Course at The Links at Spanish Bay
The Links at Spanish Bay was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr, Tom Watson and Sandy Tatum. The front 9 holes and last 5 holes weave their way between the sand dunes. The par-4 2nd hole (straight and narrow) demands great accuracy from the tee, while the par 3 8th hole (marsh corner) provides great views out to sea and the coastline. Bunkers of every imaginable shape and size provide great defense for the undulating greens. The 10th-13th holes go away from the coastline and into a more tree-lined environment looping round the back of the hotel. This course is one of the most natural links course in the world, Britain and Ireland included.
