Carden Park overview
Perfectly located between the open landscapes of the Cheshire plain and the rugged Welsh hills, Carden Park Hotel is the complete destination for those looking to book a golf break in the North-West of England.
Carden Park was named 'Winner of England's Best Golf Hotel' at the World Golf Awards and is of course home to the famous Carden Park Spa. It's easy to see why so many Golfbreaks customers return year after year.
Golf Courses
There are two onsite 18-hole championship courses in the shape of the Nicklaus Course and the Cheshire Course. Both rank inside Cheshire's top 10 courses according to Top 100 Courses in 2026.
The Nicklaus Course, famously designed by Jack Nicklaus and his son Steve, is a championship 18-hole, par-72 course set against the backdrop of the Cheshire countryside. It offers beautiful views of the Welsh hills, plays alongside the estate’s onsite vineyard, and challenges golfers with strategic hazards and distinctive double-fairway options on the 7th and 15th holes.
The Cheshire Course is equally impressive, offering a testing 18-hole layout through mature parkland. With natural features, undulating fairways, and a layout designed to reward accuracy and course management, it provides a contrasting but equally enjoyable challenge to The Nicklaus Course.
