2027 Ryder Cup
Fri Sep 17 2027 - Sun Sep 19 2027
Adare Manor is set to deliver a truly unforgettable Ryder Cup, where the electric Irish atmosphere and legendary craic will make the 46th edition of this iconic event truly special. This marks only the second time Ireland has hosted the Ryder Cup, following the memorable 2006 contest at The K Club in County Kildare, where Ian Woosnam's Team Europe claimed an 18.5-9.5 victory over Team USA.
Although Adare Manor was redesigned only recently in 2016, it has already established a reputation as the course that most closely mirrors Augusta National in Europe. With its immaculate, lightning-fast greens and dramatic run-offs, Adare promises to provide the perfect stage for an epic showdown between Team Europe and Team USA.
The Unmatched Energy of the Ryder Cup
The Ryder Cup is one of the most iconic and fiercely contested events in sport. Every two years, the best players from Europe and the United States face off in a display of pure determination, skill and pride, playing not for prize money but for the honour of their team and the love of the game.
In 2027, the Ryder Cup will return to European soil at Adare Manor in Ireland, where the passion and drama of this legendary competition will once again take centre stage. The picturesque setting will provide the perfect backdrop for an event that captures the hearts of sports fans worldwide.
While the players deliver moments of brilliance and emotion, it is the crowd that truly makes the Ryder Cup unique. From grandstands echoing with cheers to vibrant spectator villages filled with energy, the atmosphere is electric. Even those new to golf cannot help but be swept up in the excitement and camaraderie that define this extraordinary occasion.
The Ryder Cup is more than just a golf tournament. It is a celebration of teamwork, rivalry and sporting spirit unlike any other. And in 2027, all eyes will once again be on the fairways of Adare Manor as history unfolds once more.

Witness Ryder Cup history being made
The Ryder Cup is now regarded as one of the greatest sporting events on the calendar. Samuel Ryder, from whom the cup gets its name, was inspired by the 1926 match at Wentworth when Abe Mitchell teamed up with George Duncan to defeat the great Open champions, James Barnes and Walter Hagen. In the bar after the game, Ryder declared, ‘We must do this again’, and the rest is history...
When officially introduced in 1927, the two teams competing were originally Great Britain and the United States. The US got off to an impressive start, winning the first five Ryder Cup competitions. This dominance continued both before and after the Second World War, leading to the inclusion of European players in 1979, which made the playing field much more even.
In recent years, the Ryder Cup has brought to our screens some of the most memorable displays in the cup’s history. Many of you will have witnessed the ‘Miracle of Medinah’ in 2012, the United States' brilliant display at Hazeltine in 2016, and Europe’s demolition job at Le Golf National in 2018. Needless to say, the trend over the past decade has been a back-and-forth tussle with each team winning on their home soil for the most part.
However, under the composed leadership of Captain Luke Donald, who became only the second European captain to secure both home and away victories, momentum may finally be shifting. As the golfing world turns its attention to Adare Manor in 2027, can the U.S. Team rise to reclaim the Cup, or are we entering a new chapter of European control in Ryder Cup history?
