La Manga Club is a well-renowned resort in the world of golf, so naturally I was excited about the prospect of exploring everything it has to offer. I am a massive fan of resort golf so I couldn’t wait to get onto the fairways and experience it for myself.

As I flew into Alicante Airport, the weather in Murcia was glorious which was a fantastic start to the trip. I was in full golf mode.

As you can see from the video above, the resort has three top-quality courses onsite: The North, South and West course. From a golfer’s perspective, they were all phenomenal courses, but what stood out most to me was the selection. It’s unusual to have three golf courses of such high quality all within one resort.

I think it’s fantastic to have more than one option, particularly for large groups of golfers who can then easily experience something a bit different every day.

Being on the foothills of the mountains with spectacular views, the West course was probably my favourite. Whilst still on-site, it’s a bit more private and secluded than the others, with more challenging obstacles and beautiful natural surroundings.

The beautifully designed five-star Grand Hyatt La Manga Club & Resort is an excellent choice for those looking to experience the full luxury of La Manga Club. It offers five-star service, with stylish comfortable rooms and the staff are very friendly.

The resort itself is tailored to golfers with everything you need on your doorstep. Golfers really are spoilt for choice with top-class accommodation, plenty of facilities - including 28 tennis courts, swimming pools and a selection of nine restaurants on-site.

Amapola is Grand Hyatt La Manga Club & Resort's signature restaurant and serves Mediterranean cuisine, with stunning terrace views over the golf course. Notable highlights include the Asia restaurant, La Cala, Luigi's, and Sol y Sombra. The Piano bar is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a few drinks and music.. who knows, you could end up dancing on the famous piano.

It’s a resort wholly dedicated to welcoming golfers. This is what stood out to me most about the resort. The convenience of La Manga Club makes it a really great place for a Spanish golf holiday. It offers everything you’d expect from a large resort – with so much variety and so many options, ensuring there’s something for every visitor.

Tom's La Manga highlights:

  • It's just a five-minute drive to the beach
  • With a wide range of facilities, there is plenty to do off the course
  • La Cala restaurant has spectacular views over the sea and you can get a free shuttle from the hotel
  • The courses are right on the doorstep of the luxurious Felipe Hotel
  • The famous Piano Bar is perfect for post-dinner drinks, with an excellent atmosphere
