La Manga West Course offers a contrasting and more strategic challenge compared to its sister layouts, making it a favourite among golfers who value precision and course management. Designed by Dave Thomas, the course winds through natural woodland, with narrow fairways, ravines, and elevation changes shaping each hole.
Unlike the more open South Course, the West Course demands accuracy from the tee, with tight driving lines and cleverly positioned hazards punishing wayward shots. The front nine is particularly technical, while the back nine opens slightly but introduces more elevation and uneven lies.
Set in a quieter, scenic part of the resort, the course provides a more intimate golf experience, enhanced by stunning views across the surrounding Murcia landscape.
