La Manga Club

The Grand Hyatt La Manga Golf Club & Spa is one of our finest resorts in the whole of Europe. This five-star beauty oozes excellence, with three fantastic golf courses to enjoy during your stay.

The late Arnold Palmer turned his hand to the South Course here in 2005, completing the work on the three championship layouts – with the North Course the slightly easier of the group for those looking for a lighter test whilst away on their break!

There’s plenty to do here away from the course too, with complimentary access to the gym and spa, as well as a huge selection of other sports to enjoy. This makes it ideal for a larger group looking to blow off some steam in the afternoons.

The hotel is as luxurious as you’d expect from a resort that is frequently voted as one of the best golf resorts in Spain, with a massive choice of bars and restaurants to enjoy too. That said, larger groups may prefer La Manga’s self-catering option – Ona Las Lomas Village. Here, guests can revel in a home away from home, with all three golf courses located right on their doorstep.

Mar Menor

The Ona Mar Menor Resort is another five-star golf resort in Murcia – ideal for kicking back and relaxing in tranquillity amongst the Spanish countryside. There’s a brilliant golf course on-site which makes up a part of the Nickalus Golf Trail, allowing guests to also take on one of the other five courses that were also designed by The Golden Bear in the area.

Mar Menor Golf Resort

Despite the evident beauty of its location, Mar Menor can certainly step it up a gear too, with its own Irish Pub within the resort; the perfect place for a post-round pint. There’s also a nearby waterpark for those looking for some high-octane action on their holiday.

La Torre

It’ll be no surprise by this point that the DoubleTree by Hilton La Torre Golf & Spa Resort is yet another five-star resort in the region. This area really is jam-packed with some of the best golf hotels in the whole of Spain!

La Torre Golf Course Sunset

The on-site golf course at La Torre is a little more forgiving for most golfers, coming in at just under 6,000 yards. It’s a hugely enjoyable layout, with plenty of hazards dotted around to keep you on your toes. We love the ‘La Vinoteca’ restaurant within the resort – the perfect place to sample some stunning local gourmet cuisine.

Roda Golf

The Roda Golf Apartments are an enjoyable change of pace for golfers looking for a more self-contained break. There’s a mix of rooms sizes, from penthouse apartments to three-bedroom townhouses – ensuring there’s the perfect choice of accommodation for all groups.

Roda Golf Apartments and Course

Dave Thomas designed the par-72 golf course at Roda which winds around three large lakes, and even features an island green! Away from the course, the resort itself is based just 1.5km from the buzzing town and beaches at Los Narejos; the perfect escape for a sunkissed Spanish afternoon!

Ona Hacienda del Alamo

Our final resort in Murcia is the Ona Hacienda del Alamo, a mix of contemporary apartments and a superbly-styled hotel. Conveniently, the resort itself is based just 15-minutes from Murcia airport, the perfect destination for those wanting to maximise their time on the course.

Speaking of the course, the layout here was also brought to life by Dave Thomas and is one of the longest in the whole of Southern Spain. Despite being a newer addition to the area, it is already garnering a strong reputation, with guests particularly enjoying the way that Thomas has seamlessly blended the course into its surroundings.
