Golf courses at Hotel La Manga Principe Felipe
One of the three onsite championship courses at La Manga, the North Course is slightly shorter than the South Course, offering a more inviting experience for players. Golfers of all handicaps will enjoy the course as the tighter fairways and greens mean accuracy will be rewarded. The greens are built to USGA standards, so the green movement creates a real challenge, perfect for those wishing to improve their short game.
One of the three onsite championship courses at La Manga, the South Course was originally designed by Robert Putman, but was modified by Arnold Palmer. The modifications made the course more of a challenge, adding water hazards, tree and green alterations, so even the most skilled players will enjoy this course. Golfers will be rewarded once they reach the back nine, as the front nine are designed to be a lot trickier with two par-3s measuring over 200 yards and some daunting par-4s.
With narrow fairways, the West Course at La Manga requires accuracy off the tee for a good score. The course contains multiple blind spots and elevation changes, a great challenge for the more tactical golfers. An accurate game on the front nine will be rewarded, however the back nine opens up more, creating a more forgiving game. The 18th hole is a particular highlight, with the high elevated tee showing a stunning view of the resort and Murcia.
