Golf Courses
While staying at this Oceanfront Resort, three fantastic Palmetto Dunes golf courses are available to play, which are part of the Palmetto Dunes community. Play at the Robert Trent Jones Course, the George Fazio Course or the Arthur Hills Course.
Each course provides a unique challenge with water hazards and large bunkers making your round a stern test, however, the immaculate greens and unbelievable scenery are what make these courses so popular for golfers. As well as the great courses, there are multiple food and drink options dotted about, as well as a well-stocked pro shop, perfect for getting some memorabilia to reminisce about your stay.
Accommodation
There are numerous different home and villa options within the resort, ranging from one to four bedrooms and homes ranging from three to six, with many stunning views of the beautiful marina and the white sand beach. The multi-story villa complexes offer great views of the Atlantic Ocean, and all rooms come beautifully decorated while providing ample space as well as all the necessary amenities, so you won't have to worry about anything.
Restaurant & Bars
Across Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort, there is a wide spread of restaurants, cafes, and grilles, which means you can stay on-site. Alexander's Restaurant & Wine Bar is popular amongst guests, providing upscale seafood in a welcoming environment right on the 11-mile lagoon.
The other two main restaurants within the resort – The Dunes House is a laid back restaurant with stunning views of the ocean (for guest resort owners and guests only), and Big Jim’s BBQ, Burgers & Pizza is located at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, serving traditional American food and featuring a patio overlooking the course. There are also plenty of other restaurants on the island, all within a 20-minute drive of the resort.

Arthur Hills Course
The Arthur Hills course plays 6,651-yards of amazing course and has accommodated legends such as Woods and Mickelson during their collegiate years. The course offers off-balance lies and ocean breezes as well as an extensive network of lagoons winding through 10 different holes. This popular layout has earned a much-deserved reputation as one of Hilton Head Island’s best golf experiences. For precision play and natural beauty, this layout simply can’t be beaten.
George Fazio Course
At nearly 7,000 yards and just a par 70, the course is a challenge throughout with only two par 5s, the heart of the course lies in a series of long par 4s, beginning with the 432-yard first hole and ending with the 462-yard 18th. The tree-lined fairways roll gently on the front nine, while the back nine offers tighter shots that require strategic positioning off the tee. With relatively small greens and undulating surfaces, the George Fazio Course challenges and delights golfers.
Robert Trent Jones Course
A true pinnacle of design, the Robert Trent Jones Course appeals to novices, as well as experienced players. Home to one of only two oceanfront holes on Hilton Head Island, this much-loved course offers wide fairways, expansive greens, challenging bunkers and subtle elevation changes. Playing from the middle tees the course is a very friendly 6,122 yards, however, should you fancy a longer test then the back tees stretch the course to just over 7,000 yards, but regardless the yardage the course is for all!
