Golf Courses

Omni La Costa Resort has two fantastic courses onsite: Champions Course and Legends Course. The Champions Course was the first to be built on the property and is the longer of the two courses, recently redesigned it has generous fairways and deep bunkers. The Legends Course is a little tighter off the tee and you’ll be faced with undulating greens throughout the round.

There’s plenty of golfing history to be found at La Costa, for over 30 years the PGA TOUR came to the resort, each year using a composite of the two courses.

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa has over 600 rooms available to choose from, and all have been recently re-designed, so guests are assured of the highest quality. The resort offers a selection of room types from the entry-level Plaza Rooms through to Family and Presidential Suites, plus a variety of Villa options.

Restaurant & Bars

Omni La Costa has several dining options to suit all tastes and occasions. Bob’s Steak and Chop House offers a wide range of prime meats, chops and seafood with an excellent selection of cocktails and fines wines to compliment the food.

VUE Restaurant overlooks the golf courses and is open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner.

Bar Traza is a great place for happy hour drinks, Mediterranean bites, and live sport on the nine TVs situated around the lounge.

For those who are on the go, swing by the Marketplace for a variety of grab-and-go options including sandwiches, house-made pizza, coffee and travel essentials.

Spa & Leisure

Since 1965, the Spa at La Costa has set the gold standard for wellness retreats and was recently named the Number 1 Wellness Spa in the Country by Spa Magazine.

The Spa offers a variety of massages, body indulgence and facial treatments – it is the perfect way to unwind after a day on the course, and with eight swimming pools throughout the resort, further relaxation is at your fingertips.

The Omni La Costa Resort is in Southern California, 30 miles to the north of San Diego and its international airport. San Diego offers many direct flights from most major cities throughout North America.

On Site Activities

There is plenty to do at Omni La Costa, with weekly guest-classes available in yoga, kayaking, spin class, tennis and golf, to name a few! If fitness is not your forte, check out the Shops of La Costa located onsite by the main Clubhouse of the resort where you will find several boutiques offering clothing, sporting & golf attire, and spa collections.

Legends Course

Packages from $785

The Legends Course at Omni La Costa is a more traditional parkland-style layout featuring many dogleg holes and narrow fairways. Accuracy and precision off the tee are key to a good round on this sub-7,000-yard course and the San Marcos Creek running through most of the holes and will catch any wayward shots. Much of the back-nine of the Legends Course was used by the PGA TOUR in building the composite course at La Costa for over 30 years of professional tournament play.

Champions Course

This par-72 links-style course was the first of the two to be built at Omni La Costa Resort. Golfers will find subtle elevation changes throughout the course with wide fairways and deep bunkers. Being situated in the foothills, the course offers mountainous views and plays firm and fast with open sightlines. La Costa was home to PGA TOUR events for over 30 years, using a composite of the two courses. Holes 1-3 and 13-18 on the Champions Course were part of the 18 holes used in TOUR events.
