Pete Dye Stadium Course
The Pete Dye Stadium Course at PGA WEST has seen plenty of tournament history over the years and continues to be part of the TOUR’s annual schedule. This course has been ranked the 4th toughest in the United States by Golf Digest - a relentless challenge for even the most skilled players. Numerous pot bunkers and island greens are experienced throughout, and players must steady their nerves to find the island green on the 17th hole, known as ‘Alcatraz’.
Nicklaus Tournament Course
The Nicklaus Tournament Course at PGA WEST will fit the eye of longer hitters as it gives them the opportunity for power off the tee with room for forgiveness. While the fairways may be wide and forgiving, the numerous elevated greens require precise approach shots and an excellent short-game should you miss the target. The huge, undulating double-green that serves the 9th and 18th holes is a well-known feature on the course and is guarded by deep bunkers.
Pete Dye Mountain Course
This Pete Dye-design is a favorite to all that visit PGA WEST. Known for its stunning views, the Pete Dye Mountain Course is the ultimate test that features pot bunkers, rock formations, daunting elevated tee boxes, and undulating greens. The par-3 16th hole is the signature, with the elevated tee giving you a full view of the golf course and the landscape beyond. Named one of Golf Magazine’s Top 100 courses to play, the Pete Dye Mountain Course is a must when in Palm Springs.
Greg Norman Course
The Greg Norman Course at PGA WEST lies in a pre-historic seabed, 40-feet below sea level and is surrounded by the mountainous landscape. Described as ‘challenging, yet fair’ Norman’s unique layout features a great deal of sand, areas of wildflowers, nine lakes and 360-degree views that are hard to beat in the Coachella Valley. It is target-style golf at its best and provides a great experience for all that visit.
Pete Dye Dunes Course
The Pete Dye Dunes Course at PGA WEST serves up a traditional links-style layout, whilst being situated in the Palm Springs desert and with the backdrop of the mountains – a unique experience. Well known for its manicured rolling fairways and some thick rough that punishes a wayward shot, although not a long course at just 6578 yards from the back tees, the Pete Dye Dunes Course is still a good test for all.
