Valley Course
at Royal Portrush Golf Club
Northern Ireland, Ireland
The Valley Course Overview
The Valley Course at Royal Portrush Golf Club offers an outstanding links golf experience in Northern Ireland. Situated between the Dunluce Links and the Atlantic coastline, it was originally designed by Harry Colt and later refined by Martin Ebert to enhance playability and routing.
Although shorter and more forgiving than its famous neighbour, the Valley Course still demands strategic shot-making and provides a true test of traditional links golf. Its natural dunes, tight fairways, and undulating greens ensure an enjoyable yet challenging round for golfers of all abilities.
Signature Holes
The 6th hole is a stunning par three playing towards the Atlantic Ocean. Although only 160 yards, it demands accuracy with a short to mid-iron shot to a green well-guarded by bunkers and framed by dramatic dunes. The views from the tee are among the best on the course, offering a true links golf aesthetic.
