Golf courses at The Villas at Kiawah Island Golf Resort
Ocean Course
Ranked No. 1 in South Carolina by Golf Digest and known as “America’s Toughest Course,” The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island stretches 7,873 yards along 2½ miles of Atlantic coastline. This iconic Pete Dye design features Pro V1 range balls, pristine playing surfaces, and stunning ocean views. Each fourball enjoys a dedicated forecaddie to assist with tee shots, green reads, and ball searches, making for an unforgettable championship experience.
Turtle Point Course
The Nicklaus-designed Turtle Point is an exceptional course located onsite at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Playing just over 7000 yards from the tips, with 5 tee boxes to choose from, this par-72 course is one of the finest on Kiawah Island. Narrow fairways, small greens, and a myriad of water hazards provide protection to Turtle Point. Exceptional views and a great layout help make Turtle Point a great addition to your Kiawah experience.
Osprey Point Course
The Fazio-designed Osprey Point at Kiawah Island Resort plays 6932 yards from the back tees with 5 tee boxes to select from. Golfers are presented with a fantastic mix of short and long par 4’s as well as risk-reward par 5’s, making it an exciting experience for all. Lauded for its generous fairways and playability, golfers will still need to contend with difficult greens and numerous water hazards throughout the course. Osprey Point is another fine golf course to enjoy whilst at Kiawah Island.
Oak Point Course
Oak Point Golf Course was originally part of the Kiawah River Estates before being bought by Kiawah Island Resort in 2001. This par-72 resort-style course measures just over 6700 yards from the tournament tees and offers 5 tee boxes. Despite plenty of water, it is considered the easiest of the Kiawah courses and is praised for its playability and stellar course conditions. Meandering through the salty marshes and natural landscape, Oak Point is a great round of golf.
Cougar Point Course
Cougar Point is one of the five courses at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Playing 6814 yards from the tips with 6 tee boxes to select from, Cougar Point is a course to be enjoyed by all. Tight, tree-lined fairways and small greens make this ‘shorter’ course difficult and players will need to contend with water hazards that are featured on many of the holes. Set among the low country marsh, Cougar Point offers the most scenic views at Kiawah Island outside of the Ocean Course.
