Kiawah Island & Hilton Head Island Golf Tour overview
This unforgettable USA golf tour takes you through two of South Carolina’s most celebrated golf destinations, offering a mix of coastal beauty, world-class courses, and southern hospitality.
The journey begins with 4 nights at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort in Hilton Head Island, a golfer’s paradise, situated 2 ¼ hours south of Charleston International Airport. Guests will play three distinct rounds; the challenging Robert Trent Jones Course, known for its scenic views of the Atlantic; the Arthur Hills Course, featuring tight fairways and strategically placed hazards; and finally the iconic Harbour Town Golf Links. Home to the PGA TOUR’s RBC Heritage tournament, renowned for its tight layout and memorable 18th hole, which is back-dropped by the famous red and white hooped lighthouse.
After Hilton Head, the tour travels back up the coast to Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Kiawah is famed for its stunning oceanfront location, and golfers will enjoy two rounds at the property. Starting with 18 holes on one of its four highly acclaimed courses (Oak Point, Cougar Point, Osprey Point or Turtle Point), before taking on the legendary Pete Dye-designed The Ocean Course.
Host of the 1991 Ryder Cup and multiple major championships The Ocean Course is a demanding layout with ten holes running along the ocean, and the other eight running parallel to those. It’s a special place to play and always ranks as one of the top courses in the United States.
Throughout the tour, you’ll experience the best of the Lowcountry’s natural beauty, from Hilton Head Island’s pristine beaches and maritime forests, to Kiawah’s rugged coastal dunes. Both resorts offer self-catering villas and larger homes, ideal for a golf holiday, with plenty of dining outlets & restaurants in close proximity to choose from. If you’re looking for the ultimate in luxury, then talk to your travel expert about The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island – a 5* award winning hotel that sits within the grounds.
