Real Club Valderrama overview

The world-famous Real Club Valderrama championship course was designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Snr. and played host to the Ryder Cup in 1997. The course has played host to numerous competitions over the years including The Ryder Cup and Andalucía Masters, showing the quality that this club holds.

Golf Course at Real Club Valderrama

The layout at Real Club Valderrama was listed as the number one golf course in Spain by Golf Digest Magazine (USA) in 2005 and is filled with prestige. Each hole has six tees and was made with all handicappers in mind but the crosswinds make it tough to conquer. It is kept in immaculate condition and provides a challenging round every time. The par-5, 17th is the signature hole as it features strategically placed bunkers behind a green that slopes forwards to an emerald lake. It has been the scene of many a title won and lost.
