The newest edition to the resort has been made with both amateurs and professionals in mind, as there are five different tee positions on every hole. It played host to the Spanish Open in 2006 and was designed by the renowned American, Perry Dye.
Club de Golf La Cañada
This beautiful mountainous 18-hole, par-71 parkland course was designed by Dave Thomas and Robert Trent Jones. Visiting golfers will be in for an entertaining round with stunning views and undulating, luscious hills.
Valle Romano Golf Course
A Cabell B. Robinson design, Valle Romano Golf Club is a lovely looking golf course in the Costa del Sol. The design is well thought out to be kind on the novice golfer with five tees per hole and spacious greens.
La Reserva Golf Course
This brilliant 18-hole, par-72 parkland course, designed by Cabell Robinson, sits in the scenic Sotogrande. The fantastic layout is considered to be as good as, if not better than its neighbour, Valderrama.
The par-72 Alcaidesa Heathland course was designed by Dave Thomas and opened in October 2007. It is a long course with undulating terrain and offers more of an inland feel.
Alcaidesa Links is an 18-hole, par-72 course that was designed by Peter Aliss and Clive Clark. It’s the only links type golf course in Southern Spain.
Real Club Valderrama
A par-71 parkland course, it has been the scene of many a title won and lost. Designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Snr, it is tough to conquer and is filled with character and prestige.
