Longniddry Golf Club

East Lothian, Scotland

Golf Club Overview

A combination of parkland and links, Longniddry Golf Club possesses a layout that will reward the strategic player despite its shorter yardage of 6186. Over the years the course, originally designed by renowned architect Harry S Colt, has been developed to consistently test golfers with a thrilling round of golf.

Overview

The generous fairways and large greens of Longniddry Golf Club will prove deceptive when straying off-line, resulting in a severe penalty for stray shots. There are also a number of well-placed bunkers and punishing rough and gorse. Longniddry will test your abilities as a golfer having had four distinguished golf architects, including James Braid and Phillip Mackenzie Ross contribute their wisdom to create a truly challenging and enjoyable course. The clubhouse facilities include two bars and a dining room where you can relax after a testing game of golf. The pro-shop is well stocked with your golfing essentials, including buggies and trolleys, and the friendly staff will happily arrange lessons to help you get the most out of your game.
