Overview
Golf has been played at Gullane Golf Club for over 350 years and is ranked among the very best golf clubs in Scotland. The links is rich in history and provides spectacular views across the North Sea, each of the three courses at Gullane offer a fantastic test of links golf. The crisp turf is not only a pleasure to play from but allows golf to be played year-round. The three courses are simply known as No.1, No.2 and No.3, the No.1 course has hosted numerous highly acclaimed competitions over the years, including the 2018 Scottish Open. The tournament was played over 16-holes from the No.1 Course and two from the No.2 Course. Gullane Golf Club is surrounded by even more excellent golf, with Muirfield on one side and Kilspindie on the other.
Golf courses at Gullane Golf Club
Gullane No. 3
A championship links course of the highest quality, Gullane no.3 is the shortest of the three at the club, yet still very challenging. With a series of tricky golf shots required to find the greens, accuracy and precision is key to making your way round this course and the views are as spectacular as those found on courses No. 1 and No. 2.
Gullane No. 2
The No. 2 golf course at Gullane Golf Club offers numerous challenging holes, the shorter of which are particularly impressive, testing both your shot control and club selection. So precision, accuracy and good club selection is key. This 18-hole, par-71 links course also boasts beautiful views around the course which features several holes bordering the Aberlady Bay Nature Reserve.
Gullane No. 1
Dating back to 1884, this par-71, 6466 yard Golf Club has a reputation for fantastically maintained greens, challenging links grasses and tricky bunkers. The rough sea breeze is a tough one to contend with. Even the best players will find this golf course enjoyable and challenging. Besides the high standard of golf, visitors to Gullane are treated to outstanding views across the Firth of Forth and beyond.
