Palmer Course, The K Club - Kildare Hotel, Spa and Country Club
Arnold Palmer designed the The Palmer Ryder Cup golf course with real golfing prowess in mind. At 7,179 yards with a par of 72, the winding fairways of the Palmer course cleverly incorporate the old trees and water hazards, making it a layout that is being talked about all over the world today. In the words of Palmer himself "We could draw and plan for 100 years and still not come up with as good a vision". This course truly charms and entices and brings out the best in your game. Regularly ranked in the top 3 parkland courses on the Emerald Isle, Arnold Palmer’s masterpieces is a must-play ‘badge of honour’ that has hosted the top golf players in the world. To name a few- The 2006 Ryder Cup, the 2016 Dubai Duty-Free Irish Open where we watched Rory McIIroy’s European shot of the year. All this, as well 11 European Opens hosted here highlights the significance and importance of this course to European golf.
