Accommodation
The K Club has 140 bedrooms and suites with each individually appointed and no two the same in terms of size and interior décor. Guests will find the rooms to be a blend of Old-World charm and classic European style with a leaning towards modern comfort.
Quality art and silks accessorize spacious accommodations with high-end furnishings also a feature, including traditionally elegant beds and bedside tables, and a writing desk and sitting area. Although unique in style, each guestroom features a hand-painted bathroom which includes a separate shower and soaking tub.
All hotel rooms have satellite TV; free Wi-Fi and a selection of luxurious bath and body products. Views of either the resort gardens and the River Liffey, or the golf course and driving range can be found from each bedroom.
Restaurant & Bars
There is an impressive list of options to choose from at The K Club whether it be The River Room Restaurant for breakfast, elegant fine dining at The Barton Restaurant, an all-day casual menu at the Henry Lounge, European cuisine or traditional Sunday lunch at the Legends Restaurant, Thai/South East Asian cuisine at the K Thai Restaurant or classic bar food at The Straffan Inn – the resort owned and managed pub where resort guests and locals meet alike.
Note that the Legends Restaurant, the Henry Lounge and the Straffan Inn all serve drinks late into the evening.
Spa & Leisure
As you may expect from a 5-star resort, The K Club is home to a superb spa facility offering a range of quality treatments in a very relaxing setting. Guests will also find a well-equipped gym which is part of a 20,000 sq ft facility including a juice bar and Pilates room and an indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.
On Site Activities
Resort guests can make good use of the beautiful 550-acre Kildare countryside that The K Club sits on. Fishing, clay pigeon shooting, kayaking and horse-riding are just some of the activities available during your stay.
Post Round
Golfers can visit the Legends Restaurant in the Arnold Palmer Clubhouse after their round, for an excellent lunch or perhaps even an ‘Arnold Palmer’ to salute ‘The King’. With large windows offering views overlooking the Palmer North Course this is a lively, informal place to relax and discuss your day’s golf.

The K Club is a carefully restored 19th Century Georgian mansion estate, situated on the former site of Straffan House, which was originally modelled after a French chateau by Hugh Barton in 1832, the grandson of legendary winemaker Thomas Barton.
