A wildly beautiful area of France, Brittany offers so much for you to see and do when you’re not on the fairways. With so many pretty scattered islands, pristine beaches, forests, castles and medieval towns, it is a perfect spot for those seeking nature, history and adventure. Not to mention there is a fantastic array of bars and restaurants offering delicious French cuisine.
If you enjoy history, you must visit Mont-Saint-Michel-Bay where an enormous abbey dominates the top of the mound dating back more than a thousand years. Josselin Castle is also worth checking out.
Alternatively, you can visit one of the most atmospheric settlements in the region which hasn’t changed much since the middle ages, the pretty walled town of Dinan. It boasts medieval buildings and cobbled streets crowd around the banks of the Rance river as well as some really nice cafes and restaurants.
