    Carlisle appreciate good quality holidays
Really enjoyed the hotel and everyone involved in its day to day running from the senior management we met they all seemed to have one thing in mind which was about ensuring our stay was enjoyed. The people that make it maids, gardeners, bar staff, waiters are the ones who make it enjoyable...from the top to the bottom all pulled together.

Food varied in quality, sometimes very good (5*) and other times not so good (3*), but was all acceptable. Wide choice of food and a few different restaurants to eat at.
Nice room, very clean, towels changed twice a day.
    Service was great.
Relaxed atmosphere, smart casual dress in the evenings (shorts allowed).
Change money at Airport 44 Rupees to pound, 38 at Hotel.
Not Dubai 5* but it's not in Dubai, I would definitely return to the Awali.

    man of experience
This is very poor resort, the staff working there are not happy due to poor pay and long hours and this is reflected in the poor service, everything takes 20minutes or does not arrive, food quality at the 5 restaurants is very poor quality, you better off eating every day at buffet restaurant.
The food at Indian Restaurant is of very poor indian quality and lacking is taste.

I fell ill during my stay due to food poisoning and that was the case with a lot of guests, hotel has some cleanliness issues.
