Accommodation
A distinct departure from traditional hotel offerings, Trump International Doonbeg’s suites and cottages feature hand-picked furniture, antiques, and art, which lend a unique and residential feel. The accommodation aims to serve as a home away from home, offering all the amenities one would expect, and more.
Configured with 1 - 4 bedrooms, each suite and cottage feature an ensuite marble bathroom per bedroom, a living room with fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. The Suites are located in and adjacent to the Lodge building, with views of the ocean, river, countryside, or courtyard.
The Links Cottages, located a short walk away along the 17th fairway, are Doonbeg’s most spacious accommodation - perfect for groups of golfers, offering added privacy and views of the spectacular 17th fairway and surrounding countryside.
Restaurant & Bars
There are two excellent dining options to choose from at Trump International Doonbeg, with the Ocean View Restaurant named as ‘Best Hotel Seafood Restaurant’ by Good Eating Guide, and Trump’s Bar & Restaurant, a more relaxed upscale pub that looks out onto the Atlantic and across the 18th green with the majestic Cliffs of Moher in the distance. Afternoon tea is also served daily from 2.30-5pm in the Tea Room overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Spa & Leisure
Health and wellness live at the heart of Trump International Doonbeg, and the renowned White Horses Spa is the perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate. Guests can experience the deep-soaking whirlpools, steam room, sauna, and fitness center which offers an array of high-tech equipment, as well as experience a range of signature treatments that use natural, indigenous ingredients.
On Site Activities
Other than golf and spa there are a number of other activities available locally, such as sailing, horseback riding, surfing and fishing. The resort also offers a complimentary roundtrip shuttle bus service into the village of Doonbeg.
Did You Know
The word Doonbeg is derived from the Gaelic Dun Beag, meaning ‘the small fort’. The village developed around Doonbeg Castle in the 16th century, with the remaining walls visible today.
