Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Course overview
Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill features 27-holes onsite and is laid out in three 9-hole loops. The Champion and Challenger 9’s compose the 18-holes the pros play annually at the PGA TOUR’s ‘Arnold Palmer Invitational.’ This par-72 course measures 7300 yards from the tips and includes 4 tee boxes, giving players with all skill levels a chance to play and succeed. Course conditions are always pristine, and guests will certainly be impressed with the perfect fairways and greens.
These 18-holes are challenging as players will need to contend with strategically located bunkers and several water hazards throughout the course. The nine-hole Charger Course is considered the lesser of the courses onsite but is still a great track. This is more of a resort-style course that features large, rolling fairways, palm trees and water hazards spread throughout. It should be noted that all tee times on the Charger are made on the day of play.
Signature Holes
Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Golf Course consists of several stunning holes, but the most noteworthy is the par-5 16th. This picturesque hole provides longer hitters with the opportunity to reach the green in 2. To do so, however, they will need to carry the water that protects the front of the green. Like so many others at Bay Hill, the 16th is a great risk-reward hole to challenge visitors from all over the world.
