40 minutes north of Inverness is Tain Golf Club, an interesting ‘hidden gem’ links that provides great value and plenty of variety in the layout. This is a wonderful intro to golf in the Highlands.
The Championship Course at Royal Dornoch is a magnificent links course that is widely considered one of the worlds very best golf courses. As of 2020 Golf Digest ranked it at no. 4 in the world.
