Once a derelict manor house, the Celtic Manor Resort has evolved into one of the most exciting destinations in Wales, and while golfers flock to the rolling parkland estate to follow in the footsteps of their heroes, it is the vast array of activities on offer that keeps golfers, and their families, coming back for more.

There are no fewer than four hotels at Celtic Manor, including the iconic 5* Resort Hotel, and ten luxurious Hunter Lodges. Add in seven restaurants, two health spas, two fitness clubs and a wealth of leisure activities for guests to enjoy, and the only problem will be finding time to fit it all in.

Golf

The spirit of the Ryder Cup still looms large at the thriving resort, which boasts no fewer than three championship golf courses. The crown jewel at Celtic Manor is the Twenty Ten course. Opened for play in 2007, three years before the venue hosted golf’s greatest team tournament, the course is renowned for being in exceptional condition and will test every element of your game with water hazards and expertly sculpted greens coming into play throughout. Meanwhile, the Roman Road and the Montgomerie are both regarded among the top inland courses in Wales and will provide an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities.
