Soak up the sun with a break to southern Spain. It’s an area rich with golfing giants, with the incredible climate a huge draw for thousands of our golfers each year. There are regular flights from across the UK, first class golf courses, and with plenty to do away from the course too.

Join us as we fly through some of our best golf resorts in southern Spain, ideal for your next stay & play golf package.

La Cala Resort

If you’ve considered a golf break to Spain before, there’s a chance that you’re familiar with La Cala! The destination is one of our most popular resorts, with three excellent courses (Asia, America, Europa), and a plethora of other activities right there on-site.

For those looking for an active break, there’s floodlit tennis courts, a full fitness centre, squash courts, and an 11-a-side football pitch. Conversely, groups seeking relaxation are also superbly catered for by the La Cala Spa – a relaxation facility that really does have it all. In summary, we can’t think of any group that wouldn’t have an unforgettable break at La Cala.

Barcelo Montecastillo

Located just 10-minutes from Cadiz City Airport, Barcelo Montecastillo is a five-star resort that really packs a punch! The on-site Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course was a long-time European Tour host destination, with first-rate practice facilities available too. Probably a useful thing, with Montecastillo Golf certainly a course that requires your ‘A Game’.

The stunning resort has a selection of bars and restaurants with their all-Inclusive golf holiday packages becoming increasingly popular amongst golfers who are looking for a luxurious, but hassle-free trip.

The venue boasts 27-holes of fabulous golf, designed by Ryder Cup star Manuel Piñero, allowing for plenty of variety throughout your break.

Additionally, there is the option to nip out for a quick 9-holes on the day of arrival or departure! There’s 170 rooms in total, as well as a choice of bars and restaurants, ideal for bigger groups. That is, if you aren’t drawn out to the nearby nightlife!

Precise Resort El Rompido

If you’re looking to escape to one of the best-value five-star resorts in Europe, then you simply must check out Precise Resort El Rompido. There are two golf courses on-site, as well as three restaurants, and a spa.

Additionally, the venue also has a choice of other sporting pursuits, with football pitches, and paddle, tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. Its location makes it easily accessible from both Faro airport in Portugal and Seville Airport, broadening your options for travel to and from your break!

SO/ Sotogrande

Luxury in abundance, 27-holes of golf, and a stunning backdrop against the Andalusian Mountains are just some of the things that make SO/ Sotogrande one of our top golf resorts in southern Spain.

We also love the fusion of modern design with traditional Spanish architecture, and all six(!!!) of its on-site eateries! Like the Precise Resort El Rompido, SO/ Sotogrande can also be accessed by several airports – Gibraltar and Malaga – making travel easy. It’s idyllic location also allows for a day trip out to Valderrama, La Reserva, and Finca Cortesin for groups considering a longer stay.

Hotel Valle del Este

Hotel Valle del Este is a contemporary hotel situated in Almeria, midway between Murcia and Malaga. The on-site course is a desert-style design, with a routing through the volcanic rock that is in abundance in this part of Spain.

There are both indoor and outdoor pools at the hotel, as well as a well-equipped spa and a gym packed with the latest Technogym machinery. If you’re keen on staying for a few days, be sure to ask about our unlimited golf packages to maximise your time on course throughout your break.

DoubleTree by Hilton Islantilla Beach Golf Resort

Another destination with fantastic unlimited golf packages, the DoubleTree by Hotel Islantilla Beach Golf Resort is situated on Spain’s stunning Costa de la Luz. The 27-hole course actually routes around the accommodation giving you the feeling of being truly immersed in your golfing trip.

The resort’s southerly location means that flying into Faro is the quickest way of getting to Islantilla, with loads to do once you arrive on-site; including its own ‘Beauty Farm’ with every treatment imaginable! In addition to the unlimited golf packages, we’ve got some fabulous deals on longer stays here, which makes it the perfect base for a week-long break.

Lauro Golf Resort

Further East, towards Malaga, the Lauro Golf Resort is yet another with 27-holes on site, set amongst the Guadalhorce valley. The whole resort has a focus on blending in with the natural environment, as well as the local wildlife that can be frequently seen enjoying their habitat.

Whilst the routings are not the most challenging in our portfolio, there are 17 lakes throughout the 27-holes, making it worthwhile to pack an extra sleeve of balls for your trip! We’d be remiss to not mention the stunning Andalusian cuisine on offer here too, giving you an authentic taste of the region.
