Finca Cortesin Golf Club golf course
Regarded as one of Spain’s best golf courses by the prestigious Golf Digest magazine, Finca Cortesin golf course provides a fantastic challenge for players of all levels. The 18-hole championship course is surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape making for an attractive design, and the excellent weather all year round provides the perfect setting for playing golf. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition.
Cabell B. Robinson’s course design and Gerald Huggan’s attractive landscaping capture the natural characteristics of the area, adding up to an ideal balance between 20 varieties of flora, the typical Mediterranean forest and the perfectly manicured Bermuda grass on the course.
Always a favourite at Finca Cortesin and certainly a hole to savour, the 12th is a par-3 measuring 205-metres in length from an elevated tee box. Players are met with the daunting prospect of hitting onto a green guarded by several deep bunkers. The green itself may be the largest on the course, however, it is also notorious for being the hardest to read, so ensure you are as close as possible before pulling out the putter.
