Europa Course overview

Style: Parkland

Although still dramatic, La Cala Europa is perhaps the most forgiving of the three golf courses at La Cala Resort, yet still the longest, with wide, spacious fairways and manicured Bermuda grass greens.

The Ojén River comes into play on eight of the holes, with players having to cross five bridges throughout their round, all together this makes for an interesting round of golf that at 6,577 yards is a good test for all players. Surrounding the course is an abundance of local flora including lavender, eucalyptus, and olive trees which makes the ideal setting for your round of golf.

Signature Holes

The 4th could be considered the signature hole of the Europa Course, due to the excitement of having to cross the river twice!

Did You Know?

Opened in 2005, the Europa was designed by the American architect Cabell B. Robinson who is the same architect responsible for the America and Asia courses at La Cala Resort. The America and Asia layouts were two of the first projects completed by Cabell B. Robinson after he moved from the Robert Trent Jones company.

Our experts say...

"A true test of golf, which is based right in the middle of a valley. Undulating fairways and small greens make this quite the challenge."
