Palmer Course, Saddlebrook Golf Resort
Designed by and named after legendary golfer Arnold Palmer, the par 71 course plays a little longer than its yardage would suggest and with water hazards on 17 of the holes you will need to plot your way round in order to produce a good score. The par 5, 4th hole is one to watch out for. The tee shot will require your best effort as water guards the right hand side of the fairway and there is no rest bite to the left as the out of bounds fence awaits a wayward shot. Your second shot is played to a narrow, tree lined fairway with the third to an elevated well-guarded green. A tough hole from start to finish. The Palmer course is a great test and one you will enjoy playing several times during your stay at Saddlebrook.
