Though not as demanding as the Copperhead or Island courses, the South has quietly become a favourite among resort guests for its playability and charm. Its routing balances challenge with enjoyment, rewarding well-placed shots while remaining accessible for higher-handicap golfers.

The South Course is characterised by its rolling terrain, plentiful bunkers, and large sandy waste areas that frame many holes. Unlike the more heavily wooded Copperhead, this layout feels more open, evoking the atmosphere of coastal golf. Its relatively forgiving fairways encourage aggressive driving, yet precision is still needed to approach the often-contoured greens.

The standout moment comes at the par-3 9th hole, a daunting 210-yard test that plays to an island green. Demanding both accuracy and nerve, it is one of Innisbrook’s most dramatic shots.
