Founded in 1884 Formby Golf Club boasts great history and provides golfers with a top-class 18-hole layout kept in superb condition alongside a friendly welcome. The golf club has a distinguished record for hosting many top amateur events, including The Amateur in 1984 when Jose-Maria Olazabal beat Colin Montgomerie in the final.

A true home from home experience Located within the Clubhouse on the second floor, the Dormy accommodation offers guests the unique opportunity to stay at the very heart of the club. Situated adjacent to our upstairs bars and dining areas, guests enjoy stunning views across the 18th green and surrounding course - the perfect setting to relax after a day’s golf.

With capacity for up to 10 guests, the Dormy House is ideal for golf societies, small groups and visiting golfers looking to make the most of their time at the club.

All rooms are en-suite, offering privacy and comfort throughout your stay. Both twin rooms and single-occupancy rooms are available, providing flexibility for individuals and groups alike.
