Whirlwind Golf Club Cattail Course overview

The Cattail Course at Whirlwind Golf Club, designed by Gary Panks, is an 18-hole, par-72 layout stretching a huge 7,218 yards and is able to be lengthened off of the championsip tees. Opened in 2002, it offers a blend of strategic play and natural beauty, with broad fairways, undulating greens, and stunning views of the Gila River landscape.

The course incorporates native plants and desert terrain, creating a challenging yet visually captivating golf experience.

Signature Holes

Hole 15 – Horn Toad: A downhill par‑3 admired for its stunning views and name steeped in respect for local fauna. Be very careful with club choice here as danger awaits any overhit shot.

After your round, enjoy food and refreshments at Sivlik Grill - serving Southwestern and American cuisine with a variety of dishes like burgers, sandwiches, and fresh salads.

Sivlik Grill’s patio offers scenic views of the course and the desert landscape, making it a perfect spot to relax post-round.
