Grayhawk Golf Club overview

Located in Scottsdale, Arizona, Grayhawk Golf Club offers golfers a fantastic lineup of tremendous golf and relaxing lifestyle experiences. The onsite clubhouse is a magnificent golf facility and has been designed in a way that captivates not only the golfers among us but also non-golfers with its many activities and unbeatable ambience.

The two onsite courses are both exceptional examples of what desert golf is all about, the par-72 Raptor Course offers generous fairways, sweeping undulations and deep bunkers and the Talon Course, a host of numerous high profile tournaments.

The golf club also offers numerous modern practice facilities including a driving range, putting greens, and practice areas where you can tune your game in before getting on that first tee.

Golf Courses

The club has grown its reputation from two outstanding courses The Talon Course and the Raptor Course. Both David Graham, 1979 PGA Champion, and Gary Panks created the exciting Talon course, the par 72 consists of undulating greens, and numerous tricky tee shots make this difficult but amazing golf so popular.

The aforementioned Raptor Course was designed by Tom Fazio with the main purpose of the course being a high-risk high reward. The par 72 plays a whopping 7,151 yards from the back tees and is quickly becoming well known for hosting prestigious events including the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships from 2021 to 2023 and Waste Management Phoenix Open pro-ams.

Restaurant & Bars

There is a wide variety of dining options at Grayhawk golf club, Quill Creek Cafe offers a beautiful selection of American favourites with a 'southwestern flare' and great views out onto the 18th hole of the Raptor Course and picturesque mountains, it's hard to beat. Phil's Grill named after the historic Phil Mickelson is a relaxed area with a lively atmosphere where many golfers reminisce their rounds with a cold drink.

For non golfers, Isabella's kitchen provides groups the chance to look out to the Talon Course while indulging in favourites such as pizza, bruschetta, salads, sandwiches, steaks and fresh pasta crafted daily by Chef Sammy. Finally is The Morning Joint aka Mojo where they specialise in delicious smoothies to prepare you for your round.

Golf courses at Grayhawk Golf Club

Raptor Course

Breaks from £1,489

The Raptor course is considered slightly more challenging than the Talon course with its tight fairways, huge greenside bunkers, and wonderfully undulating greens. This golf club is where Phil Mickelson honed his skills as a student at Arizona State University.

Talon Course

Breaks from £1,489

Of the two high-quality courses at Grayhawk, it is usually the Raptor that takes the glory. But don’t let this deter you from the scenic and challenging Talon layout. The tighter and slightly shorter of the two, this course will test your accuracy and course management to the full. The large, fast greens contain an array of slopes, while the dreaded three-putt looms on most holes if you're in the wrong place on the green.
