There are two award-winning courses on offer at We-Ko-Pa Golf Club which is located within the Sonoran Desert. This club will deliver one of the best golfing experiences within the Scottsdale area.
The Cholla Course was designed by Scott Miller and the Saguaro Course was designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. Each course offers spectacular views of the McDowell Mountains alongside numerous others and they weave their way through shady arroyos and desert ridges. Golf Courses
There are two courses at We-Ko-Pa Golf Club. The first course to open in 2001 was the Cholla Course. It quickly became an Arizonan favourite and it continues to delight. The course is always maintained to a top-class standard and always provides a stern challenge for all golfers.
Five years after the Cholla course, the Saguaro Course made We-Ko-Pa Golf Club an even more appealing destination for a golf trip. It has previously been voted the number one public access course in Arizona by Golfweek, and has become well known for its desert links-style design with greens situated near the next tee.
Restaurant & Bars
There is nothing better than getting some food and drinks after your round, and at We-Ko-Pa Golf Club you can experience an unparalleled southwestern sunset at what is ranked among the top golf course patios in the country. We-Ko-Pa Grille offers breakfast, lunch, and cocktails ideal if you want a quick bite or enter the restaurant for a finer dining experience.
Equally popular is Saguaro Grille, a popular halfway house that offers a number of eating options with a great atmosphere.

Saguaro Course
A Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw design, the Saguaro desert course has developed a reputation that’s every bit as good as its sister course. The course has been created with the idea of walking the course, enhancing your experience of this challenging and scenic layout. The Saguaro has already received plenty of critical acclaim, not least from respected Golfweek, which ranks it as the number one public access course in Arizona. A par-71, it measures in at 6966 yards.
Cholla Course
Located on-site at the We-Ko-Pa Golf Club, this Scott Miller designed desert course has rapidly become one of the most popular golf courses in Arizona. Golfers are thrilled by the impressive layout and spectacular mountain views. Maintenance and presentation standards are always top class, ensuring that the greens are some of the slickest you’ve putted on. Well-placed bunkering adds to the Cholla course’s overall aesthetic.
