Golf courses at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa
North Course
Measuring in at 7172 yards, this 18-hole recently renovated parkland course features wide-open fairways. These seem very inviting from the tee and the minimal amount of rough allows for the odd wide shot but the small, elevated greens require an accurate approach. Water obstacles come into play throughout the course and the signature hole has to be the par-3 16th, which requires water to be crossed from tee to green.
South Course
Designed by Dick Wilson, this course may feel tighter than the North Course, providing a real challenge to all golfers. The front 9 is fairly hilly, while the back 9 is relatively flat and more enjoyable. Water comes into play on a lot of holes, particularly with the San Marcos creek winding its way through the course.
