The Legend Golf Course at Constance Belle Mare Plage stands as the first true championship layout in Mauritius - a testament to ambition, natural beauty, and pure golf challenge. Set within an old deer-hunting forest on the island’s east coast, this 18-hole course winds through dense tropical vegetation, lined by native trees and framed occasionally by distant ocean glimpses.

Although not overwhelmingly long by modern standards, the Legend Course demands precision and course management. With numerous water hazards, narrow fairways bordered by trees, and greens rebuilt to USGA specification for immaculate rolling surfaces, straight-hitting and a steady short game are rewarded.

Signature Hole

The most celebrated hole at Legend is the par-3 17th - a dramatic tee shot across a small inlet on the edge of the lagoon at Bras Requin Bay. Club selection and nerves are tested here, as the green is guarded by bunkers and water, and the only hole with sea-views - a fitting finale to any round at Legend.

Post Round

The Legend shares the resort-level facilities of the wider Constance Belle Mare Plage, with a clubhouse offering a pro shop, rental clubs, golf carts, caddies, a driving range, putting greens, and a full Golf Academy.

Post-round, players can unwind in the clubhouse’s restaurant and bar, where buffet-style meals and drinks accompany pleasant views over fairways, often followed by a dip in the resort’s lagoon or a stroll on the nearby beach.
