Built on naturally rugged terrain, the course bears many of the hallmarks of Faldo’s other designs, such as the varied tee shots and deceptive bunkers. There is a natural wadi that runs the length of the course, which often comes into play without being classified as a hazard, another feature that sets this course apart.
