Golf Courses
At this impressive Portuguese Golf Resort, there are two on-site golf courses - Pinta and Gramacho, and one off-site golf course, Silves. All three courses at Pestana Golf will test your ability from tee to green, however, the Vale da Pinta is probably the more challenging of the three. At Pestana, guests are also privileged to be in one of the finest areas in Portugal for golf. With Alto and Vila Sol also situated within the local area, guests will have world class Algarve golf at their fingertips.
Accommodation
Pestana Golf Resort has an outstanding range of stylish accommodation. It consists of 115 apartments and 169 villas, all very comfortable, brightly decorated, and set in superbly maintained gardens. All of the villas and apartments are spacious and well equipped, featuring fully furnished kitchens, bathrooms, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, washing machines and central heating.
Restaurant & Bars
There are two restaurants located within the resort where visitors can enjoy anything from light snacks to fine dining. With outdoor terraces, guests can enjoy stunning views over the golf course as they enjoy their food. During the summer months, the resort organises themed party dinners and BBQs to really add to the atmosphere and quality of the venue.
Spa & Leisure
Although Pestana Golf Resort doesn’t have a spa, there are plenty of amenities available where guests can relax. The indoor heated pool, sauna and jacuzzi are the perfect places to unwind after an exciting round of golf.

Gramacho Golf Course
The golf course of Gramacho is among the best in the Algarve and also one of the more unique offerings in this golf rich region. Defined by its rocky outcrops, dry stone walls, tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkers and lakes, Gramacho is an excellent challenge for golfers of all abilities and is known for its abundance of intricately designed holes. It is an absolute must-play if you’re visiting the Algarve or wider Portugal.
Pinta Golf Course
Opened in 1992, Pinta Golf Course has a reputation for always being in excellent condition. The imported Bermuda grass ensures that the fairways are always pristine and a joy to play. Most of the course’s par 4s and 5s utilise dog legs to put a major emphasise on accurate driving. Scattered water hazards further add to the challenge of this course, meaning approach shots have an equally important role in scoring well.
