Penha Longa features two exceptional courses, the Penha Longa Atlantic Championship Golf Course has been ranked within the top 30 courses of Europe and the 9-hole Monastery. Designed by the famous architect Robert Trent Jones Jnr, all 27 holes at Penha Longa offer a stunning backdrop, challenging golf and a golf break to remember.

Offering 204 fully renovated, spacious rooms and suites as of 2024, each space is thoughtfully designed with natural decor and boasts stunning views of either lush natural park or the golf courses. Golf courses at Penha Longa Resort
Atlantic Championship Course
Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, the Championship Course utilizes the steep, sloping terrain and fantastic views of the surrounding landscape. Six of the holes dip into the valley, with the remaining holes playing on the hills, giving players great variety throughout their round. Having held the Portuguese Open three times and the Estoril Open in 1999, it is easy to see why the Championship Course is ranked one of the top five courses in Portugal.
Atlantic South Course
Similar to the North Course, the South Course at Penha Longa combines the back-9 of the Championship Course allowing players to choose whether they play 18 or 27-holes. This combination creates a wide variety of golf throughout the round, perfect for golfers seeking something different in Lisbon. The fantastic scenery consists of the hills of Sintra and several beautiful lakes, making the South Course one to not be missed.
Atlantic North Course
The North Course creates a fantastic constellation of 18-holes, merging the front-9 of the Atlantic Championship Course with the 9-holes on this course. The different feel of the front and back-9 is perfect for golfers looking for some variety throughout their round and the back-9 can even be combined with the whole Championship Course to create a stunning 27-hole layout for players looking to make the most of their golfing days.
