The Straits Course
At Whistling Straits, you will find one of the USA’s most admired links layouts with an outstanding array of challenging holes that run alongside Lake Michigan. The Straits Course plays a staggering 7790 yards and wind can become a serious factor here and when it picks up this course is very unforgiving – a real test of links golf that was ranked #2 in Golf Digest's ranking of America's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses for 2013/2014.
The Irish Course
Playing 7201 yards this amazing course is much more than a meagre ‘solid second’ at Whistling Straits. The landing zones here are a little wider and the greens are slightly more forgiving. The 13th hole here is a par-3 which features a blind tee shot over sand dunes to a giant 14,000 square foot green. The Irish Course at Whistling Straits was ranked #39 in Golf Digest's ranking of America's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses for 2013/2014.
