Accommodation
Piersland House offers 37 stylish guest rooms across three different accommodation options. The main house and The Lodge offer traditional hotel guest rooms, whilst the more family friendly Mews rooms are in a courtyard setting that surround the main house. All have multiple amenities that you would expect from a 4-star hotel.
Restaurant & Bars
Piersland House also provides guests with a variety of great dining experiences. The Walker Bar and Restaurant offers a more informal and relaxed atmosphere along with a fine selection of wines, malt whisky and gins, whilst the Red Bowl Restaurant has a slightly more contemporary feel, providing an extensive seasonal and traditional menu, catering for all tastes.
Location
Piersland House is located on the south west coast of Scotland, opposite Royal Troon Golf Club on the south side of Troon, and a few hundred yards from the beach. Best international access is through Glasgow Airport which is a 40-minute drive to/from the hotel. For those arriving into Edinburgh Airport this is approximately 1 hour 25 minutes away.
Did You Know
The original Piersland Lodge was built as a private residence in 1899 for Sir Alexander Walker, the grandson of Johnnie Walker who founded the internationally famous Scotch whisky firm. Although converted into a hotel in 1956, Piersland House still retains its original country house character today.
