Golf Course
Leopard Creek is an 18-hole championship course designed by Gary Player and is widely regarded as one of South Africa’s finest.
The layout makes full use of its dramatic location bordering Kruger National Park and along the Crocodile River, with fairways weaving through indigenous bushveld, water hazards from the river and lakes, surprise changes in elevation, and gently sloping greens that test shot-making and precision.
Wildlife is ever-present here - not just as scenery. Crocodiles, hippos, elephants, hippos in water hazards, and the broader sounds and sights of Kruger National Park provide a unique backdrop and occasional wild obstacle.
Signature Holes
The standout is the 13th hole, a spectacular par 5 that runs alongside the Crocodile River. From the green, perched high above the water, you can look straight into Kruger National Park. It’s not unusual to see elephants, hippos, or even crocodiles while you play - a reminder that this is no ordinary golf course.
Post Round
After your round at Leopard Creek, you can relax at the elegant clubhouse, which features a restaurant, terrace, and lively bar overlooking the Crocodile River.
