World Tour Golf Links overview
Par: 72 | Yardage: 6,525 | Opened: 1999 | Designed by: Mel Graham
Take a trip around some of the best golf courses in the world without ever leaving Myrtle Beach. The World Tour Golf Links brings together 18 of golf's most iconic holes all in one course.
Open since 1999, you will find a memorable golf experience no matter what level of golfer you are. From Augusta's iconic Amen Corner to St. Andrews' stunning 18th, the World Tour offers playability and pays homage to the game's most famous venues.
Golf Course overview
The World Tour Links features two very distinctively themed nines:
Open nine: Mother-of-links architecture inspired by St. Andrews, Royal Troon and Valderrama.
Championship nine: U.S Classics including the iconic Amen Corner from Augusta, as well as TPC Sawgrass, Bay Hill and Winged Foot.
Architect Mel Graham created a layout that's approachable for all handicaps, with wide fairways, varied tee options and visually recognisable challenges.
Bonus feature: You will also find informative plaques on each hole explaining its historical counterpart.
Signature Hole(s)
Almost impossible to choose as every hole is based on its very own signature hole it doesn't seem fair to just pick one.
However, the Amen Corner run of holes stands out due to its magnitude in the world of golf. Given how exclusive Augusta is in general as well, enjoy it and soak in what might be the closest you get to playing one of golf's most iconic stretches of holes.
