The Jones Masterpiece was the first course built at Treetops Resort, debuting in 1987 under the design of Robert Trent Jones, Sr. It quickly established the resort as one of Michigan’s premier golf destinations. True to Jones’ philosophy of “hard par, easy bogey,” the layout is both playable and challenging, with multiple tee boxes accommodating all skill levels.
Set across Northern Michigan’s natural ridges, wetlands, and valleys, the course is celebrated for its sweeping elevation changes and panoramic views. The Masterpiece is a course that blends strategy, beauty, and championship character.
