Best golf courses in Spain

Amazingly constructed for the staff of the third-largest bank in Europe, Golf Santander is rich in character designed partly by one of the game’s most charismatic figures, Seve Ballesteros. Although very tough and long, Santander is a true test of golf and playable for all abilities. Despite being in its early years, the course is definitely one to look out for and don’t be surprised if the European Tour come knocking very soon.

Built by the European Tour to rival the PGA Tour’s Sawgrass course, designers spent 10 years carefully plotting out one of the best golf courses in Spain. Having already hosted several European Tour events, the Stadium Course was a contender for the 2022 Ryder Cup but narrowly missed out. The course is always in immaculate condition and places PGA Catalunya right up there with the very best Spanish golf courses.
