Spain has long been a favored destination for British and American travelers and it’s no secret why with a hot climate, beautiful beaches and delightful culture.

Spain also has some of the finest golf courses on the continent having already hosted plenty of tour events and even the Ryder Cup. We have handpicked our top nine from a pick of the best golf courses in Spain.

Real Club Valderrama

Valderrama was host to one of the greatest Ryder Cup matches of all time back in 1997. Seve Ballesteros’ European Team rushed to a 5-point lead heading into the Sunday singles. The US team rallied back but Team Europe held out. The course today still is up to tour standard frequently hosting professional events and is an absolute must when in the Costa del Sol.
