Contracting Manager - Full Time Position
Role Overview
Golfbreaks is seeking a Contracting Manager to manage and develop supplier partnerships across the Western United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
This role requires an equal balance of relationship management and contracting, with a heavy focus on contract detail, due diligence, and supplier negotiations. The successful candidate will build strong partnerships with golf courses, resorts, and hotels while negotiating supplier agreements, conducting due diligence, and ensuring contracts are accurately implemented across the business.
We are looking for someone who enjoys both developing relationships and managing the detail required to secure successful long-term partnerships and deliver meaningful business results.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of golf courses, resorts, hotels and destination partners across the Western U.S., Mexico and Caribbean.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and act as Golfbreaks' primary point of contact.
- Negotiate supplier contracts and commercial agreements, securing competitive terms while ensuring rates, offers, contractual obligations, and key contract provisions are commercially advantageous and accurately documented.
- Identify and contract new golf travel products and destinations.
- Communicate supplier agreements, rates and offers accurately to internal teams.
- Work closely with Sales, Pricing and Marketing teams to maximize product performance.
- Deliver venue and destination training to colleagues as required.
- Represent Golfbreaks at industry events, trade shows and supplier meetings.
- Maintain accurate supplier records and activity through Salesforce CRM and other company systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years' experience in account management, supplier management, contracting, hospitality, travel, tourism or a related commercial role.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to understand, review and negotiate commercial agreements and contractual terms.
- Excellent relationship-building ability.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
- Experience in travel, hospitality, golf or tourism preferred.
- Salesforce CRM experience preferred.
